Participants of 1st Kohima Cross Country (XC) Cycle Race organised by Kohima Smart City Development Ltd.
Kohima, October 17 (MExN): Kohima Smart City Development Ltd. successfully organised the 1st Kohima Cross Country (XC) Cycle Race which was flagged off the Deputy Commissioner of Kohima Mohammed Ali Shihab A, IAS.
Kevilebo Zhotso won the competition by finishing the race in 13 minutes followed by Yamet Leinak in 16 minutes and Avitu Casavy in 16 Minutes 7 seconds.
The prizes were sponsored by Krank Hub, Pusa Printing Press, Aravalli Enterprise and Manom Wallim, DSP Traffic. Prizes were handed over to the Cyclists by R D Peseyie, Secretary, Jotsoma Village Council.
A press release from Kovi Meyase, CEO Kohima Smart City Development Limited stated that Kohima Cross Country (XC) Cycle Race was held in continuation of the India Cycles for change challenge which is an initiative of the Ministry of Housing & Urban Affairs, GOI to create a National Cycling Revolution across the country in the wake of COVID-19.
