The Angami Public Organisation (APO) today  withdraw an ultimatum regarding Kezoltsa, Kozirii and Kozin land dispute issue and urged Tenyimi Peoples' Organisation (TPO) to expedite the settlement process in a way that is “acceptable and agreeable to all involved parties.”

The development came aftermath the visit of the APO and the Angami Youth Organisation’s (AYO) to disputed Kezoltsa, Kozirii and Kozin area for ground assessment. The team reportedly visited the sites on March 21.

As per the latest findings, the Southern Angami Public Organisation (SAPO) Rest-house that was demolished has been rebuilt by the Tenyimi Peoples' Organisation (TPO) and stands unchanged as before, APO President Razouvotuo Chatsu stated in a press release received here on Monday.

The Manipur Police Outpost which was set up in the disputed area has been relocated to an undisputed area, the release stated.
APO welcomed “these transformative developments as timely and conducive for the parties involved to evolve together a solution that will be honourable, therefore workable and acceptable.”

In keeping with its declared position that, TPO has been mandated to bring about the needed solution. The APO directed all bodies/organisations or individuals under APO to cease forthwith issuing any statements or rejoinders on the issue under discussion.

“Such a responsible moratorium is now called for and the understanding and cooperation of all is requested, so that the crucially needed trust-building process will be created wherein the actual search for the much-awaited solution may begin,” it stressed.

Reposing its trust on TPO in resolving the dispute, the APO said it, “hereby withdraw our ultimatum and request the TPO to expedite the settlement process in a way that is acceptable and agreeable to all involved parties.”
