Sechü Zubza FC today scored an emphatic 4-0 win over fifth place Khriekesa FC to stay on top of the ongoing 2nd Kohima football league here at Kohima Local Ground.
The top three of the Kohima Football League table are Sechü Zubza with 23 points, Ziekezou in second with 21 points and New Market with 19 points.
In today’s match, Neikhotso Nagi (26) opened the tally for the league leader in the 7th minute. An own goal was by Khriekesa FC’s Neilabeituo Shiiya (2) in the 34th minute to give Zubza team 2-0 ahead in the first half.
In the second half, Shürhosül Zhotso (9) scored in the 82nd minute while Hanglen Chang (12) found the net again for Zubza in the 87th minute.
Meanwhile, the league will be suspended for two days i.e., from August 20-21 and resumed on August 22.
