In an effort to bring the community closer together, the Kuhuboto Area Sulimi Totimi Hoho (KGSTH) organised a culinary competition for mother groups of villages under Kuhuboto area on August 5 at Kuhuboto Town.
President of Dimapur District GBs Association, Tokuho Suhoi Neho, who graced the event as chief guest, said such event was a great way to bring about positive change in the area.
Stating that holding a community event is worth the effort, the DDGBA president maintained that event such as this helps create a more caring and inclusive community and ultimately, it can make the area a nicer place to live.
“It will create emotional bonding and increase knowledge of culinary skills as well,” he added. Tokuho was of the view that everyone has a role to play in building a strong community.
Xelhozhe village STH won the first prize with Hoito village STH securing the second place and Lotovi village STH the third spot. (MExN)
