Overseas Naga Association

The Overseas Naga Association (ONA) has stated that it shares the Naga people’s loss of the passing of SS Khaplang, Chairman of NSCN (K).

“Khaplang was a luminary among the generation of Naga patriots who devoted their entire lives to the Naga people’s struggle for freedom from colonial domination and outside interference,” a condolence note appended by Visier Sanyü, President, and Paul Pimomo, Secretary General, on behalf of the association stated.

“He was there fighting against impossible odds at every turn, from the height of the struggle to the day he died on June 9, at age 77.
