Kohima, April 13 (MExN): The 3rd Dr Savizo N Yhome Memorial Tennis Cup concluded on April 12 at the IG Stadium Tennis Complex, Kohima, with Major Aasheen Bhanot gracing the closing ceremony as guest of honour and presenting trophies to the winners.
In the Men’s Doubles category, the team of Vilasier Khate and Nousi Kire clinched the championship title, defeating Vikhozolie Khate and Zhaputso Khate in the final.
The Veterans Doubles title went to Vikhozolie Khate and Shuk Shishak, who emerged victorious over the pair of Khrietuo Mepfhuo and Kikrusetuo Sekhose.
The tournament was organised by the Nagaland Lawn Tennis Association (NLTA) in memory of the late Dr Savizo N Yhome, with the aim of promoting tennis and fostering sportsmanship in the state.
