Dimapur, April 26 (MExN): Advisor for Tourism and Art & Culture, Nagaland H Khehovi called upon the Union Minister of State for Art & Culture, Mahesh Sharma at the latter’s chamber at Shastri Bhawan, New Delhi on April 24.
A press release issued by Lisapila, PRO (Tourism), Nagaland House, New Delhi stated that the Advisor put forward some issues of the department like the need for artist hostel at the Naga Heritage Village, Kisama, construction of Directorate of Art and Culture cum State Museum in Kohima, and setting up of museums in some districts of the State. The Minister assured that the matters will be given due consideration, the release added.
Khehovi also met the Minister of State for Tourism KJ Alphons on April 24 in his office chamber at Transport Bhawan, New Delhi. The Advisor apprised the Minister of “important matters and proposals relevant to the Department.” The Minister expressed willingness to extend all possible assistance to the requests.
