Khekaho Assumi meets Nagaland Fashion Week - Delhi team

Khekaho Assumi, Nagaland Parliamentary Secretary for Youth Resources & Sports met the team of Nagaland Fashion Week - Delhi and expressed happiness on the noble initiative that aims to revive Naga culture, textile and tourism and expose the youths of Nagaland in the field of fashion and music to an international audience, according to a press release.   This fashion week will be organized by NHHDC (Nagaland Handlooms and Handicrafts Development Corporation) in collaboration with Delhi Fashion Club.   The event will comprise of international designers giving Nagaland's youth like models an opportunity to get international acclaim, the release from Delhi Fashion Club said. NFW team will present an exhibition absolutely free for sales and promotion by local artisans and women entrepreneurs to encourage women empowerment.   Apart from free education to Nagaland's youth worldwide, which is being promised by Ratnadeep Lal, head of IIFT (International Institute of Fashion Technology), who is also a senior team advisor, NFW team is also planning to provide free platforms to all the women designers from Nagaland without any registration cost.   Nagaland Fashion Week is part of NHHDC initiative to promote Naga culture through fashion and handloom promotion in metro cities.   Interested designers and models can send their profiles at nagalandfashion@gmail.com and for update keep following official Facebook page www.facebook.com/nagalandfashionweek.
