Khelhoshe Polytechnic Teachers condemn harassment

Zunheboto, May 18 (MExN): The Teachers’ Association of Khelhoshe Polytechnic, Atoizu (KPTA) has vehemently condemned the “barbaric acts and unruly behavior” of one Hekishe Chishi for allegedly harassing and threatening faculties of the institute on May 18.

In a press release, the association stated that the accused had on Thursday evening “insulted, harassed and threatened” faculties of Khelhoshe Polytechnic Atoizu (KPA) while they were playing badminton in the institute’s Multi Purpose Hall.

“He forcefully chased out the faculties from the Institute Multi Purpose hall claiming that Institute Multi Purpose Hall is his ‘private property’ by saying he has an order from ‘Government of India and District Authority (EAC),’” the teachers’ association stated. The accused repeatedly charged one of the faculties “nearly leading to physical assault”, it further alleged.
