Kidima Students’ Union held freshers’ day at Grace Hall, Whito School, Kohima on June 7.

Kohima, June 8 (MExN): Kidima Students’ Union (KSU) freshers’ day was held at Grace Hall, Whito School, Kohima on June 7. The event was graced by Vimeyiekho Vitso, former General Secretary of the Angami Students’ Union, as guest speaker.
Representatives from Angami Students’ Union and Southern Angami Students’ Union also attended the event, stated a press release received here.
In his address, Vimeyiekho Vitso encouraged students to value their role as learners and to view academic success as a way to honor the sacrifices made by their parents. He emphasized the importance of setting positive examples, pursuing excellence not only for personal success but also for the upliftment of family and community. He also urged the students to uphold the values of their cultural heritage while striving for growth and development.
The programme was chaired by Rokoneinuo Temi, Joint Secretary of KSU. The invocation was offered by Thinuho Pucho, Associate Pastor of Kidima Christian Revival Church Fellowship, Kohima. The welcome address was delivered by KSU President Vikhruku Ltu, followed by a sharing of experience by Vakrasenu Rote.
A special prayer for the freshers was led by Dr Viral Yore, Pastor of Christian Revival Church, Kidima. Special musical performances included a solo by Akhrienuo Ltu and a duet by Ketoulhou
Sakhrü and Keviweno Tholre. Vote of thanks was delivered by Angozo Yore, General Secretary of KSU.
