Kohima, May 29 (MExN): The Kidima Students’ Union (KSU) observed its annual freshers day on May 27 at Village Council Hall, Kidima.
The speaker, Solesul Tholre Urban Development Officer, Mokokchung said that people have become smarter and more competitive and in order to succeed one should always be a step ahead of others. He stressed on humility, discipline, honesty and sincerity and further encouraged the students to be smart while studying.
KSU General Secretary Vilapa Vitso in a press release said that the programme was chaired by Asato Sachü. Kocünu Ltu invoked God’s blessings. Welcome address was given by Vingosal Sachü, President KSU followed by a special song from Aldina Ltu. Zeneivile Ltu presented the statistical report. Menekunu Ltu spoke on behalf of the fresher’s while a speech on behalf of the senior was delivered by Kekuneil Ltu, Scientist B, National Science & Technology Council, Kohima. Vote of thanks was given by Peneizo Sachü. Keleseto Soleho and Vimhatonu Soleho were declared KSU Mr and Miss Fresher 2017.
