Dimapur, June 17 (MExN): Kids For Fame - a singing contest for kids aged 10 to 17 years which was initiated in the year 2007 by Pheto Music Association, is an event and entertainment Group registered under Home Department, government of Nagaland. The organizers has completed the 1st and 2nd season, which was held in 2007 and 2009 which went very successfully. Keeping the Association motto “Discovering Talent to a Higher Level”, this year too, Kids For Fame Season 3 was launched recently and the process of issuing of registration is going on.
A press note issued by Kashito Kiba, Managing Director (PMA) stated that in order to find out the real talent in Nagaland, especially young and upcoming talent it is important for the children to be given platform to expose their inborn talents at an early age. The Mega kids contest will start with auditions in various districts from 1st week of July 2011. The audition will be without any musical accompaniment as the selected ones will be polished and trained by professional musician to go for the next round to be held in the month of August. After the eliminations, the top 12 will be selected by the panel of judges and the public will choose top six contestants then after which out of top six only three finalists will be chosen for the ultimate winner of Kids for Fame Season 3, 2011.
Contestants can sing in English and also Hindi to give more opportunity to Hindi singers/artist as well. The dates and time of all the auditions and shows will be informed through the daily papers. PMA has informed to parents/churches/concern schools/friends/relatives to send their kids who has got the singing talent to come to this mega platform for Kids in Nagaland to be exposed to a greater opportunity and a better future.
