Kingfisher Airlines flight attendant from Nagaland killed

Kohima, October 3 (MExN): Kingfisher Airlines flight attendant from the Rengma community of Chunlikha village, Nagaland was killed in an accident at an amusement park in Chembarambakkam, around 25km from Chennai on Tuesday.

According to the family sources and the deceased sister Nenle Magh said that her sister late Afia Magh, 20 years was killed on 2nd October while riding in an ‘octopus ride’— in which people are seated in rotating cars at the end of five giant metallic arms that revolve around a central axis.

She also said that her sister’s friend from Chennai had told that her sister had suffered severe head injuries and she was rushed to a hospital where doctors declared her dead on arrival. However, the causes of the death is not clear, the investigation is going on, she said. 

Pastor Wabang of Naga Christian Fellowship (NCF) Chennai said in a telephonic conversation that the Kingfisher Airlines is helping in all the possible way and the bodies will be flow to Guwahati in a Kingfisher Airlines flight tomorrow.

The body will reach Guwahati tomorrow and will come to Dimapur by road. Thereafter, the body will be taken to her native village Chunlikha on the same day. The funeral service will be held on 5th October, sources said. 

Family members clarified that the news item appearing in the Times of India has “input a wrong data entry”. The actual name of deceased is Afia magh, 20 yrs (female) daughter of late Chani Magh from Rengma community of Chunlikha village, Nagaland. Her mother Sasulu Magh is presently working at Naga Hospital Authority Kohima.
