Kiphire, February 2 (DIPR): A meeting on Kiphire Aspirational District under the 115 Aspirational Districts Programme of the Government of India was held at the Deputy Commissioner’s office, Kiphire on February 1. Deputy Commissioner of Kiphire, Mohammed Ali Shihab, IAS, chaired the meeting.
The DC encouraged all departments and organizations in the district to work hard for the upliftment of the district, stating that Kiphire is the most backward among the 115 Aspirational Districts.
Ideas and views on various aspects, including agriculture, water resources, health, education, nutrition, road connection etc., were also deliberated in the meeting.
Senior Technical Director & State Informatics Officer, NIC Kohima, Hemanta Kr. Saikia assured that NIC will provide all necessary technical support for realizing the aspiration of the programme in the district.
