Kiphire bids farewell to outgoing DC and ADC

Kiphire | August 6 : Along with other civil societies and officers from various establishments of Kiphire district, parliamentary secretary CAWD T. Torechu and MLA Kipili joined the farewell programme of the outgoing Deputy Commissioner CM Tsanglao and Additional Deputy Commissioner Murohu Chotso yesterday.
Giving his best wishes to the outgoing officers, parliamentary secretary CAWD said, “For the betterment of the district we must have hurt you but forgive the people of the district before you leave this place” and expressed hope top work together even in the future as Nagaland is not big. He thanked both the officers for their selfless sacrifice for the upliftment of the district during their stay and even expected the same to continue in the days ahead. The parliamentary secretary also exhorted the outgoing officers to help Kiphire in every possible way wherever they are posted so that the district reaches the status of other advanced district in development. The parliamentary secretary also stated that he was “touched by the way you do today and asked the people to live like this in every walk of life.”
MLA Kipili who also spoke at the programme said, “Able administrator comes out by getting posting from this district as the district have cultural diversity and multiple tribal living together.”
The outgoing DC, C.M Tsanglao while sharing his experience called upon the officers present to live an exemplary life so that people of the district learn from them. He also reminded that life is a book and the only thing you leave behind is the rich legacy and asked the officers to let people read you after you are gone. Recalling his days with head of department in the district the DC said, “As the head in the district we must have argued sometimes but it is all for the betterment of the people and it is not for personal gain and asked the officers not to take it personally.”
Outgoing ADC Murohu Chotso also express his gratitude to the people of the district and assure the people to extent help in every possible way. Members from USLP, YTC Kiphire, Joint forum, KTC, ESH spoke on the occasion beside other departmental heads.
