Kiphire District Planning Development Board (DPDB) meeting was held at DC's Conference Hall, Kiphire on December 9 under the under the chairmanship of Minister, Soil and Water Conservations, Geology & Mining, V Kashiho Sangtam.
The Minister observed that despite of the difficulties faced by officers posted in Kiphire, officers have done a commendable job in successfully implementing various government schemes and programmes. He expressed hope that the officers will carry on the good work ethics in the coming years for the development of the district.
Attending his first DPDB meeting after been sworn in as MLA from 60 Pungro-Kiphire Constituency, T Yangseo Sangtam said, “People’s grievances and requirements are essence and for which we should meticulously put our heads together for the fruitful development and prosperity. And we must joint our hands to mend the disarray to bring accountability, efficiency and transparency.”
Kiphire been an ‘Aspirational District’, he stated that all stakeholders must work together and draw up a vision and action plan for 2018-22 through public participation to ensure that Kiphire is full-fledged partner in creating a new India by 2022.
DC Kiphire Ajit Kumar Ranjan, IAS informed the house that survey of all government office by LSRO will be completed by February 2020 he therefore urged upon HOD's to extend help and cooperation. He said in order to ensure that officers are in station online attendance system has been introduced to check the presence of officers in station in the line of 'no work, no pay'.
On the agenda for setting up of SBI branch at Seyochung ADC Hd, the house entrusted the administration to write to the higher up. House also approved Recasting of LADP schemes and projects for 2020-21 for 60 Pungro-Kiphire Constituency.
