DC Kiphire and newly inducted President John Tsulise Sangtam taking an oath during induction ceremony held on August 22.
Kiphire, August 22 (MExN): Deputy Commissioner of Kiphire John Tsulise Sangtam was formally inducted as President of Kiphire District Bharat Scouts & Guides during the induction programme held at DC conference hall on August 22.
During the programme, P Lipichem, Proprietor, Agape Higher Secondary School Kiphire and Fr Philip Magh, Principal, Loyola Higher Secondary School, Kiphire were inducted as Vice Presidents while TR Abraham Sangtam was inducted as District Commissioner (Scout).
The newly inducted President in his speech extended his appreciation to the Kiphire District Bharat Scouts and Guides for the efforts they are putting for the upliftment of the movement. He said that Scouting and Guiding is a voluntary movement for the benefits of the citizen which is a respectable works. He further assured to extend his help whenever needed.
Earlier, District Education Officer, Kiphire Deenabandhu Panda welcomed the gathering and extend his best wishes to the scouts and guides. The programme was chaired by Arola, ADOC (G) while Imtinaro Longkumer, DOC (G) delivered vote of thanks. Inato Sema, DOC (S) administrated the induction ceremony and Nyingsuthong Tikhir DTC(S) delivered the significant the Scouts and guides. Apenla Pochury presented a special song.
