Kiphire District Cricket Association attains 25 years

Kiphire, September 25 (MExN): Kiphire District Cricket Association (KDCA) celebrated its silver jubilee with EAC Kiphire, Takatemjen Pongen as the special guest at public ground, Kiphire on September 24.
In his speech, the EAC emphasised the role of cricket in uniting people and fostering value such as discipline and team work, and urged for the development of sports infrastructure and greater inclusivity, calling for more opportunities for youths, women and people with disabilities respectively.
In his welcome address, President KDCA, Justin Khatomong T expressed gratitude to all the pioneers and officials who have contributed to the success of KDCA. He also provided a brief history of the association and its accomplishments over the last 25 years.
A DIPR report stated that the programme was chaired by Hopila S Sangtam and the invocation was proposed by Pastor, Nepali Baptist Church, Kiphire, Bhim  Saptoka. Special song was presented by Lumthise, while Joint Secretary KDCA, Rothrongse Sangtam administered the oath, followed by declaration of the matches by the special guest.
