KIPHIRE, JULY 10 ((MExN): The SP Kiphire, K Swarnambika IPS, has launched ‘Operation Good Samaritan’ to create awareness against drug abuse by involving community participation.
This initiative aims to mobilise volunteer youths across Kiphire district, to go for door to door campaign, jointly with the Kiphire Police, to spread awareness against drug abuse within society. Any interested volunteer from Kiphire district can enroll his/her name by texting any of the following mobile numbers with Name, ID proof and contact number, along with the caption 'Volunteer for Operation Good Samaritan, informed a press release from the Kiphire Police.
Volunteers can text the Additional SP, & Nodal Officer, Anti Narcotic Task Force – 6009308147; SDPO, Kiphire – 6009308148; OC PS Kiphire – 6009308149; and OC PS Pungro -6009308150.
The SP Kiphire has solicited cooperation from the public of Kiphire district to take part in this noble cause and make this programme a successful one by holding a mass outreach campaign against drug abuse. The volunteers will be given 'participation' certificates from Kiphire police as a token of appreciation in recognition of his/her active participation in combating war against drugs to keep his/her society clean.
