Kiremwati publishes book on his 90th birthday

Kohima, July 16 (MExN): Former Director, then Higher and Technical Education and former Pro Vice Chancellor NEHU, Kiremwati published a book ‘Towards the last day on earth to become the first day in heaven’ on his 90th birthday on July 16.

A DIPR report stated that through the inspiring book, though only 35 pages, the author shared his experiences, memoirs and knowledge endowed with in his long life. The book was released by Reverend Asangba, Pastor, Kohima Ao Baptist Church at the birthday celebration at his residence in Kohima.

In his short speech the author said that on the death of his wife in 2017, a big vacuum was created in his life, so to fill up the vacuum he decided to do something which resulted in publishing this book. Kiremwati also said that he was inspired to write this book saying that it would be incomplete for him to think of his vast experiences to be taken to his grave.

Former Director School Education, Talitsuba, who was one of the distinguished guests at the celebration and who also celebrated his 87th birthday with Kiremwati shared the good days he had with the author of the book. Rukhielhoulie Angami, President of Nagaland Pensioner’s Association and Moyithung Odyuo in their speech recalled the contributions made towards the Nagaland Pensioner’s Association by Kiremwati when he was the President.

The programme was attended by family members, friends and well wishers.
