The Kirha Students’ Union (KSU) Viswema celebrated its 50-years of existence at GMS Ground K Khel, Viswema under Kohima district on December 18.

Addressing the gathering as the special guest, Nagaland’s Prisons, Printing & Stationery Advisor Er Kropol Vitsu extended jubilee greetings and appreciated the founding leaders of KSU for their vision and also the past and present leaders for their benevolent services towards the uplift of student community and quality of education under K Khel of Viswema village.

The best learning stage is from Class A to Class 10, he said, adding that during this period teachers give their best to impart basic knowledge to the students.

In this, Vitsu called upon the students’ community to give their best to grab the basic knowledge by listening carefully to the teachers so as to successfully achieve their future goals.

He also asked them to concentrate in their studies and not to involve too much with the different societal organizations as they have to face course oriented competitive studies from higher secondary and above.

Nonetheless, the Advisor also encouraged the youngsters to be willing to venture into agriculture, entrepreneurship and business and not to depend only on government jobs.

Also touching the political line, the Advisor asked the people not to speak against any political party by believing in rumours and hearsay especially during election. He encouraged them to look at the prospects of the party and its developmental initiatives.

As a resource crunch state, Nagaland has to stand with the party which is running the affairs in the Centre, Vitsu said.
