Kohima, January 3 (MExN): A five day long 47th Kiruphema Youth Organization (KYO) sports meet cum Youth day concluded on December 31 last at Kiruphema ground (Peducha) under Kohima district.
Theyievilie Suohumvü, Sr SDEO Kohima and Thepfüyiengu Vielie, KGC chairman graced the occasion as the special guest as guest of honour respectively.
A new team of KYO has also been announced with Kekhrievituo Dahou as president for the tenure 2022-2024.
Earlier, Kezevilie Hojha who served two consecutive terms as president expressed gratitude to all sponsors, match patrons, participating teams, medical team and well-wishers for their support and cooperation.
In wrestling (seniors), Megovizo Visienyü emerged as the champion. Kedovilhou Kruneilie, Megotsolie Suohumvü and Rajukolie Vielie stood 2nd, 3rd & 4th place respectively.
In junior category, Kekhrielhousie Hozoyie bagged the champion title. Kekhriesituo Kruneilie, Rokolhoulie Zhünyü and Miazielhoukho Vielie stood 2nd, 3rd and 4th position respectively.
Kekhrie Club emerged the champion title in both men football while Kezekevi Club emerged the champion title in volleyball (Women).
