KJS Bank Ltd donate towards BBBP project for Nagaland

  Kohima, June 28 (MExN): The Governor of Nagaland, PB Acharya visited the Kalyan Janta Sahakari Bank Ltd, a multistate scheduled co-operative bank in Thane, Kalyan, Maharashtra on June 27.   During the visit, the Banks Directors’ Trust donated a cheque of Rs. 51,000/- towards the Governors’ Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao project for Nagaland. The cheque was handed over by Mohan Agharkar, Secretary of the Trust and former Chairman of the Bank.   According to a press release issued by PRO to Governor, interacting with the Board Members of the Bank Acharya informed about the efforts and progress made during the last four years in North East including Nagaland. He also stated that many programmes have been undertaken by the State and Central Governments for furthering integration.   Governor Acharya also appealed to them to visit Nagaland and experience the beauty of nature and enjoy the hospitality of the locals.   Dr. Vasant D Kane had engaging conversation with the dignitary in connection to the progress made in Nagaland and other neighbouring states. Vice Chairman, Madhusudan Patil thanked the Governor for visiting the Bank and for his guidance.
