Kohima, July 17 (MExN): Kuzhami Lethu Lyche (Kuzhami Literature Board) on Saturday organised its Metshu Mehpö (general conference) at TT Hall Pfütsero.
Dr Neisatuo Mero, MLA of 16th Pfutsero AC graced the event as guest speaker and emphasized the unique history of the Kuzhami people.
He encouraged the scholars, teachers, leaders, parents and all concern to inculcate and teach their children the importance of mother tongue and power of literature.
He also acknowledged the influence of teachers on the students, and in this regard asked the teachers to diligently play the role model, mentor and educator for the children.
Further he also wished Kuzhami Lethu Lyche (Kuzhami Literature Board success in their future endeavors while he acknowledged their works.
On the occasion, speeches were also delivered by Tiarenla J Kire, SDEO Pfutsero and Medozü Mero, President, Kuzhalhu Zawe.
Dr Ditsolo Kapfo, Chairman KLB led the programme while vote of thanks was proposed by Kewekote Akami, General Secretary KLB.
