Rev. N. Silubo Zeliang, Pastor, blesses children during the concluding programme of Vacation Bible School at KLBC D Block on June 29.

Kohima, June 29 (MExN): The Children Department of Kohima Liangmai Baptist Church (KLBC), D.Block, organised a three-day Vacation Bible School (VBS) from June 27 to 29 at the church premises, culminating with a special message delivered by church secretary Dr. Rattan Kaurintta.
Speaking on the theme drawn from Matthew 11:28, Dr. Kaurintta described the verse as a powerful invitation from Jesus to find rest from the burdens and weariness of life.
Emphasising the need for a personal relationship with God, he told the children that faith offers comfort and peace in an increasingly fast-paced and information-saturated world.
He urged the participants to be strategic in how they consume news and information, encouraging them to stay informed without being overwhelmed and to always choose a trustworthy God as their anchor. “Stick with God and keep your relationship with Him alive,” Dr. Kaurintta said.
The concluding programme was presided over by Assistant Superintendent of Sunday School, Nchangbuile, while the invocation prayer was led by Rutmakbo. Rev. N. Silubo Zeliang, Pastor of KLBC, gave a special blessing to the children. Sunday School Superintendent, Phungben, expressed gratitude to all donors and volunteers who contributed to the success of VBS 2025.
