Passed out students of HSLC & HSSLC of Kohima Liangmai Baptist Church were offered a blessing by Rev N Silubo Zeliang, Pastor on the occasion of KLBC D Block Youth Foundation Day on June 11.
KOHIMA, JUNE 11 (MExN): The Kohima Liangmai Baptist Church (KLBC), D Block celebrated their Youth Foundation Day cum Liangmai Pastor Day of Prayer at their church premises on June 11.
On the occasion of the Youth Foundation Day, Phungben Kaurinta, Sunday School Superintendent as the resource person stated that the incarnation of Jesus Christ is the foundation of youth ministry. Kaurinta encouraged young people and said that young people should base their life on Jesus Christ and set example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.
She encouraged young people to be faithful and pray to God. She further stated that the youth ministry must be rooted in biblical foundation and effectively communicate with one another.
Passed out students of HSLC & HSSLC were also offered a blessing by Rev N Silubo Zeliang, Pastor. The programme was presided by Kungkam, Youth Pastor and refreshments were also provided by the Youth Department.
