Kohima Lotha Baptist Church inaugurated its Kruoliezou Sector Church on May 24.
KOHIMA, May 24 (MExN): The Kohima Lotha Baptist Church (KLBC) inaugurated its new sector church in Don Bosco School area, which was officially renamed as Kruoliezou Sector Church on May 24.
“The decision to rename the sector was made after thorough research and deliberation by the KLBC Board of Deacons, with the new name reflecting the heritage and identity of the locality,” stated a press release received here.
It stated that the newly inaugurated church structure stands as a testimony to the community’s dedication and faith, with its architecture designed by the late Architect Renbenthung N Shitio, whose vision has now been realized in the completed building.
Speaking at the inaugural ceremony, Senior Pastor Benry shared the rich history behind the establishment of the church, detailing how the land was initially purchased and the subsequent growth of the then DBS (Don Bosco School) Sector. He also paid tribute to the many individuals who played instrumental roles during the early stages of planning and throughout the construction phase.
Following the official inauguration, a special church service was held, bringing together members of the sector and the larger Kohima Lotha Baptist Church community in prayer, worship, and thanksgiving.
