Kohima, July 3 (MExN): With the rest of the youth department of churches in Nagaland, the Kohima Liangmai Baptist Church Youth Department under Liangmai Baptist Association Nagaland celebrated ‘Youth Day of Prayer’ on July 3. The programme was held under the banner of ‘Youth Stand firm in the righteous,’ according to a press release from the Media Cell, KLBC.
Neiba Newmai, Church Deacon, in his youth day of prayer message laid emphasis on the book of Ephesians, particularly chapter 6, verses 7 to 10, the release stated. He said that the congregation must put on the ‘full armor of God’ so that they can take a stand against the devil's thoughts. He also encouraged the youth department to prepare for a ‘spiritual battle’ to stand firm against the devil’s desires. The Kohima Liangmai Baptist Church women department encouraged the youth department by presenting gifts to all youth of the church, the release stated.
