KLC holds service with Kohima Orphanage Home 

Kohima, August 8 (MExN): The Kohima Law College held a service with Kohima Orphanage Home on August 6.
A press release from Media Cell, Kohima Law College stated the programme was led by Orphanage Home, mother Neibano who shared about the function of the Home while welcoming the teaching & non-teaching faculty and the students of Kohima Law College.


Professor-in-charge, Kohima Law College Kezhokhoto Savi was the speaker who cited several successful stories of an orphanage, including Mother Teresa mission. He also shared a true story of an orphanage who became top leader in his country. God loves the children and “as a child of God we are to put our trust in God where God has a plan for every one of us not to destroy us but to prosper us,” Savi exhorted the children.


A memory scripture recitation was presented by the children including choir singing which consisted of 93 children. Students of Kohima Law College also presented a group song.


The teaching and non-teaching staff of the College conducts prayer meeting on every first day of the month along with free will offering. With the money collection, the release stated that the group bought bags of rice, salt and pulses which was given to Orphanage Home.


Kohima Orphanage Home consists of more than hundred children, including 93 school and college going students.


The release also mentioned that the Home received few hundred bags of rice from the state Government in the year 2018 which was a great help to them. Owing to this, the College also appealed to the state government, particularly the concerned department to regularly supply rice to the Home as per the National Food Security Act, 2013 where they could be covered under both Priority House Hold (PHH) and AAY.
