KMC approves revised rate of essential commodities

Kohima, April 28 (MExN): In partial modification of order earlier issued and on receiving the latest rates of Dimapur Municipal Council, the Kohima Municipal Council (KMC) held emergency meeting with whole sellers within KMC jurisdiction and the related rates have been approved.

 

KMC administrator Kovi Meyase in order issued here today stated that the rates are subjected to be revised after the lockdown period is lifted.

 

Customers urged to maintain social distancing

Meyase directed all the shopkeepers to follow the normal price rates as per KMC chart and entertain one customer only and maintain social distancing.

Customers are obliged to wear PPE masks and wash their hands before and after buying goods.

No commodities shall be sold beyond MRP or fixed rate, the order stated.
