Dimapur, March 22, (MExN): Kohima Municipal Council (KMC) City Buses has been introduced in the State Capital in two routes, ie. from District Jail Kohima to Science College, Jotsoma and High School Junction to Thizama (4th NAP Camp) via New Secretariat Complex. This was flagged off by ADC-cum-Administrator Kohima Municipal Council, Kohima Alun Hangsing from KMC Parking lot along with Advisor KMC Vibeilietuo .
KMC has received 25 City Buses under Jawarhalal Nehru National Urban Rural Mission (JNNURM) Programme. Very soon these City Buses will be plying in different routes. The KMC has also appeal to all the citizens to avail this Public Transport facility for the convenient of their various daily activities. The City Buses will be available from 8:00 am till 4:00 pm.
