Kohima, November 3 (MExN): As part of the nationwide campaign on cleanliness “Swachhta Hi Seva,” (Cleanliness is Service), the Kohima Municipal Council (KMC) is organizing an essay writing competition on November 16 at 10:00 AM in the conference Hall of the Deputy Commissioner office Kohima.
All higher secondary schools both government and private have been requested to send two students to participate in the competition. The topics will be based on “Plastic Free India.” The winner will get Rs. 10,000 while second and third prize winners will get Rs. 7000 and Rs. 5000 respectively.
KMC administrator Kovi Meyase informed that the last date of submission of names is November 11. Confirmation on participation and list of names may be submitted in written to the office of the KMC or may be conveyed to the nodal officer @ 9856841194.
