Kohima, October 12 (MExN): The Kohima Municipal Council (KMC) has fixed rate for the service of barbers in Kohima with immediate effect till further order.
Hair cutting- Rs. 50, hair cutting & shaving- Rs. 60, shaving with foam/cream- Rs. 40, head massage- Rs. 40, body massage- Rs. 40, hair dye charge- Rs. 40 plus cost of hair dye.
Meanwhile, KMC administrator Kovi Meyase in office order asked the barkers to display approved rate chart in their respective establishments.
They have also been asked to display government COVID 19 SOPs and display the medical fitness certificate.
Other mandatory for barbers include; use of blue colour apron, wash basin and soap for hand wash and new blade for every customer.
Every barber shall have 2-3 sets of hair cutting clothes for the customer.
