Kohima, October 27 (MExN): The Kohima Municipal Council (KMC) today informed that despite ban orders issued by the Urban Development Department (May 16 ,2022) and Deputy Commissioner, Kohima (September 2, 2002), the use of "single-use plastic" items is still continuing in printing of Flex Banners by certain printing press the council/ Accordingly, the KMC Administrator T Lanusenla Longkumer, in a notification, reminded all business establishments, particularly the proprietors of printing press that printing of flex banner below 120 microns is liable to be penalized. “Checking will be carried out any time from the date of issue of this notice,” it added.
