Kohima, June 5 (MExN): The Kohima Municipal Council (KMC) has detailed its staff to conduct checks on trade licences from the first week of June in Kohima. In this, the general public and business community have been requested to cooperate with the officials. The staff will be in uniform and with identity card, KMC Administrator T Lanusenla Longkumer stated in a circular. Traders/shopkeepers have been requested to insist on identity card of the KMC officials who come to their establishments/shops for checking. This is to avoid impersonation of KMC officials by unscrupulous individuals who dupe the business community.
