KMC Ward No 8 (New Market) Councillor holds thanksgiving prog

The thanksgiving programme for Kohima Municipal Council (KMC) Councillor, Thejavizo Phillip Solo from Ward No 8 (New Market) took place today at New Market Kohima in the presence of Nagaland women Resource Development & Horticulture Minister Salhoutuonuo Kruse. Speaking on the occasion, Kruse urged everyone to extend support to him and collectively work for the development of the colony.

Solo, who was elected unopposed on NDPP party ticket in the recent ULB election 2024 conveyed special thanks to Kruse for working out the “reconciliation strategy” with K Andrew Tepa to cohesively work together in the larger interest and welfare of the New Market Ward.

“I shall stand committed towards the priorities enshrined in the election manifesto that includes proper sanitation, healthcare, welfare oriented measures, equal benefits on government sponsored schemes, youth entrepreneurship, working close coordination with panchayat, youth and women bodies for the overall development of the Ward,” Solo said.

Short speech was delivered by Kelhouneizo Yhome, general secretary CEB NDPP, Youth Organization I/C NDPP Central while Alika Solo spoke on behalf of the family. The programme was chaired by Neihulie Sanchu while welcome address was delivered by Rokobeizo Nyusou, Chairman, New Market Area Panchayat. Vote of thanks was proposed by Keneiselhou Solo.
