DIMAPUR, JANUARY 29 (MExN): The 2nd United Gorkha Cup 2023 concluded organized by the United Gorkha Football Club from January 24 till January 29 at Singrijan Village Ground.
KNG FC (Krishna Nitra Guria) won the championship defeated United Gorkha Football Club (UGFC) 4-1. Vibeizolie Nagi of KNG FC was able to secure top scorer of the tournament with 7 goals.
Best goal keeper award was given to Govind Thapa of KNG FC; the player of the tournament was Rahul Gurung of UGFC; and the best defender award was won by Ashish Rai of UGFC.
A cash prize of Rs 25000 for the champions and Rs 15000 for the runners up was awarded to the teams with trophy, medals and certificates.
The opening ceremony was graced by Col Ullas Badoni, Commandant, 43 Assam Rifles.
