‘Knocked on over 10,000 doors during ground campaign,’ says JLP (RV) Nagaland President

Dimapur, April 20 (MExN): The State President of Lok Janshakti Party Ramvilas Nagaland & Member People's Democratic Alliance (PDA), S Richard Humtsoe has thanked the voter in house districts of all the JLP (RV) set up units in Nagaland who voted for the PDA consensus candidate Dr Chumben Murry and placed their confidence in the PDA Government to be their state representative.

Humtsoe in a press release stated that when the official candidacy of Dr Chumben Murry was announced on March 1, 2024 for the 18th lone Lok Sabha seat in Nagaland, “a well thought-out plan was devised that would take us to victory on Election Day, regardless of the opponent.”

‘That plan included meeting the voters face-to-face, getting my message out on a personal level, and letting the voters see the leadership of Dr Chumben Murry and under the leadership of Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio,’ he stated.

“I accomplished that by starting my door-to-door ground campaign in the end month of March to 1st week of April 2024. When all was said and done, I had knocked on over 10,000 doors which lead me by my Party Comrades, walking the vast majority of the district twice. It obviously worked. To the voters of Districts, inexpressible thank you all,” Humtsoe informed.

This would not have been possible without help from my loving Party Comrades and a campaign manager of my Party who was second to none, he added while thanking the voters, individual friends and party workers.

“I am very humbled by the support everyone has given us and I promise that, we will listen to your concerns and will always put the best interests of the voters first as enshrined in the PDA Election manifestos. Subsequently, we will always work on a foundation of respectable values – honesty, integrity and transparency,” he affirmed.
