Know better finance management and investment: DC Mokokchung

Mokokchung, October 7 (DIPR): Deputy Commissioner Mokokchung, Sushil Kumar Patel has encouraged government employees to make the best use of their salaries by adopting better finance management and investment to ‘live a dignified life’ as well as to cope with unforeseen exigencies. Presenting a Power Point on Finance Management & Investment in the District Planning & Development Board meeting in the conference hall of district Planning Office on October 7, Patel, who is also the Vice Chairman of the DPDB said, being salaried class fully depending on their salary, employees should have broad knowledge on proper management and investment of their salary keeping in mind ‘save first and spend later’. He particularly encouraged employees who are in the age between 25 to 35 years to adopt management and investment of their salaries at the earliest saying that it is the best time for them to broaden their investment in diversified areas for their better future. He also cautioned employees to ‘avoid debt as much as possible’ and appealed to prepare for meeting the unforeseen events.  

The DPDB members welcomed the DC for his personal interest to educate the employees on better management and investment.  

During the meeting, Registration of Cure Foundation Society, change of Nomenclature of Government High School Mongsenyimti to Subongnuklu Government High School, Missing Link Society Mokokchung and Scaffolding (An entrepreneur Support Group) were approved and decided to forward it to the government.  

Dr. Sunep, Honorary Secretary, Indian Red Cross Society, Mokokchung Branch highlighted the activities of the Society since its formation in 1988 and its dream/proposal to have a Multipurpose Red Cross Office Building preferably near the District Hospital premises.
