Kohima, June 24 (MExN): The District Education Office, Kohima organised a felicitation programme for district level award for ‘Swachh Vidyalaya Puraskar 2021-2022’ at the Conference Hall of the DEO, Kohima on June 24.
According to a press release from the Kohima DEO, Shanavas C, Deputy Commissioner, Kohima-cum-Chairperson of the District Level Committee, SVP Kohima district and Khriesano Nagi, Asst Director-cum-State Nodal Officer, SVP were the special invitees.
All together 14 awards in the overall and sub-categories were handed out to the Schools by DC Shanavas, the release stated, adding that five schools are nominated for the State Level Award from Kohima District.
The programme was chaired by Neivikhono, Project Asst DMA, while DEO Kohima Emilo Patton delivered the welcome address. Principals of St Mary’s Cathedral Higher Secondary School, Lerie and Little Flower Higher Secondary School, Kohima shared their experiences regarding SVP, speeches were also delivered by the special invitees.
A brief report on SVP Kohima was delivered by Benny Dzuvichu, District Level Coordinator, SVP Kohima, while Thonsenlo, Asst District Coordinator, DMA delivered the vote of thanks, the release stated.
