Not long after three flower pots were stolen from Mohonkhola Kohima, 18 flower pots in the box cutting area were stolen and the uprooted flowers were thrown nearby above the road.

Confirming this, Avelu Ruho, Joint CEO Kohima Smart City, speaking for The Green Team Kohima said the missing flower pots and uprooted flowers were found by the team on September 12 morning when the team went for social work.

The area is being maintained by The Green Team Kohima wherein 24 flowers pots were placed in that particular area, out of which 18 pots were stolen by miscreant(s).

Ruho viewed “they were interested in the flower pots and not the flowers” and optimistically said, “For few people who does this, there are many more who don't that.”

“Hopefully things will get better. Of course, we get angry when we see these things, but this is just a process of a society growing,” opined Ruho.

She also informed that the team will be replacing the flower pots very soon.
