Kohima, October 3 (MExN): The Kohima Ao Students’ Union (AKTK) convened its general conference and Students Day event at Molu Ki, Kohima on October 2.
A DIPR report stated that exhorting the gathering as the main speaker, Engineer in Chief of Power, Moa Aier emphasised on the pressing need to move beyond reliance on government employment. He stressed the importance of harnessing one’s potential, dedicating time, and channeling energy into productive endeavors. By doing so, individuals can create resources for their livelihoods, reducing their dependence on government support, he added.
On the occasion, meritorious awards were handed out to toppers of HSLC & HSSLC Students.
New office bearers for the tenure 2023 to 2025 were also elected with the following: President-Sentilong, Vice President-Limatemsu Jamir, General Secretary-Moasunep, Assistant General Secretary-Sentinaro, Information Secretary-Sentilong Yaden, Cultural Secretary-Imsenkumla Lemtur, Finance Secretary-Ayimer Jamir, Assistant Finance Secretary-Sunep L Imsong.
Welcome address was delivered by AKTK Vice President, Takusunep Imchen while vote of thanks was extended by AKTK, General Secretary Meyipong Kichu.
