Kohima Ao women org donates drinking water system to NHAK

In a benevolent gesture, Kohima Watsu Telen (Ao Women Organisation) today donated 10 units of drinking water system to Naga Hospital Authority Kohima (NHAK). The drinking water system installed in different wards and entrance of NHAK was formally inaugurated by NHAK Managing Director Dr. Neikhrielie Khimiao.  

In his address during the inaugural function, Dr. Neikhrielie while maintaining that the need for installing the drinking water system had been long felt and lauded the Watsu Telen for extending the facility in the Hospital.  

“We are extremely glad towards the Organisation,” he said while adding that safe drinking water is a must to prevent and control the environment pollution and that the facility would be of major help to patients and visitors. He also asserted that the Hospital authority has been making best efforts to improve the hospital for the good of the patients.  

KWT senior member Watienla Jamir said the Organisation besides standing for the rights of women in the society has also been taking up social obligations and therefore installation of the drinking water system is part of the responsibility towards the society. She expressed hope that the facility would be beneficial everyone in the Hospital, including the sick, visitors, attendants and also staff of NHAK. She also requested the Hospital authority to properly manage the drinking water system.  

Chaired by KWT Chubasangla Longkumer, dedicatory prayer was pronounced by Kohima Ao Baptist Arogo pastor Tiatoshi Longkumer. Naga Idol Season 3.08 Toshinaro Imchen enthralled the gathering with a special number.
