The Kohima Bible College (KBC) held its 51st Graduation Day at the Multipurpose Hall, Indira Gandhi Stadium, Kohima on June 4.
Delivering the valedictory message, Rev Dr Zotuo Kiewhuo, Principal of Kohima Bible College and Founder-Senior Pastor of Koinonia Baptist Church, urged the graduates to be rooted in the Bible and to boldly preach the gospel.
He cautioned against the love of money, citing Judas Iscariot, and called on the graduates to uphold Christian principles with conviction. Emphasizing prayer and fasting as vital spiritual practices, he encouraged them to remain consistent in daily prayer and in tithing—both financially and spiritually.
He warned against false teachings and urged the graduates to uphold integrity through discipleship.
The programme was led by Dr Keneipfenuo Rüpreo, Assistant Professor, KBC. A speech on behalf of the graduates was delivered by Zhokhrovizo Naleo. R Bendang Kichu, Academic Dean, KBC, made the ‘Presentation of Awards and Degrees,’ while Rev Dr Zotuo Kiewhuo, Principal, KBC, presented the Academic Degree Awards, and Abei-ü Neihulie, President, KBC, presented the Non-Academic Awards.
A total of 79 students graduated on the occasion: 21 students in Master of Divinity (M.Div.)- Regular, 15 students in M.Div. - Extension, 39 students in Bachelor of Theology (B.Th.) -Regular, and four students in B.Th. – Diploma.
