
Kohima, January 5 (DIPR): A farewell programme in honour of the out-going Deputy Commissioner, Kohima, Rovilatuo Mor IAS was held in the Conference Hall of DC Office, Kohima on January 5.
The out-going DC, Rovilatuo Mor, IAS in his speech shared experiences of his tenure and acknowledged the team spirit of his staffs. He however expressed that posts of SP and DC in a district deserve more regard from the Government as they shoulder a whole lot of responsibilities.
He had words of appreciation for the Kohima DPDB members and various Committees he had been associated with for their cooperation and support. He also thanked the Angami Public Organisation, Kohima Village Council, Rengma Hoho and other NGOs for extending full cooperation and contributing mature views and opinions by maintaining the law and order situation for the betterment of the district.
The outgoing DC solicited the same cooperation, support and understanding towards the incoming DC, and further assured to extend any information, clarification or guidance if required in the days to come.
The incoming Deputy Commissioner, Rajesh Soudararajan IAS in his speech said that he was honoured to take over as Deputy Commissioner of the historic, prestigious and the capital city of the State. He extended his heartfelt thanks to the outgoing DC to be a part of the programme which, he remarked, was a platform to meet all the associations, public representatives of Kohima.
The incoming DC also thanked all the speakers and APO President for welcoming him and commissioning him as a member of APO and further thanked them for their assurance to cooperate in his tenure. He also stated that to the best of his ability he will give the best in whatever task and further requested the gathering for their valuable cooperation, suggestions and advice in days to come.

The farewell programme was chaired by Additional Deputy Commissioner, Kohima, Lithrongla Tongpi who also delivered the welcome address while PA to DC, Kohima and other DBs presented a special composed song in honor of the out-going DC. Presentation incharge by SDO (C) Establishment, Neikesono Kevichusa and vote of thanks by SDO (C) Judicial, Kohima, Neilezo Tep.
