The Holi Celebration Committee, Kohima, is organizing Holi “Festival of Colours and Festival of Love” at the Gorkha Public Panchayat Complex, opp Govt. Printing Press, Chandmari, Kohima on March 13 (Monday) from 10:00 hrs to 14:00 hrs. The festival of Holi signifies the victory of good over evil, the arrival of spring, end of winter, and for many a festive day to meet others, play and laugh, forget and forgive, and repair broken relationships. It is also celebrated as a thanks giving for a good harvest. Everyone is invited to join the festivities, fun and frolic at the above venue. The organising committee cordially invites all the members of the all residents of Kohima irrespective of religion or creed to join us in the celebrations. The celebrations will consist of traditional colour-play (dry and wet colours), snacks and a short cultural programme besides music and dance.
