With the festive season approaching, the entire colony/wards of the state capital Kohima have been face lifted. This beautification work was initiated by Minister for Environment, Forest and Climate Change Dr. Neikiesalie (Nicky) Kire. The materials for painting of the roadside wall in all colony was borne by Dr. Nicky. Complying with this city beautification programme, various colonies undertook a mass social work today. The minister inspected the ongoing works today and expressed happiness with the active participation of the community to keep their respective colony neat and clean.
