KOHIMA, OCTOBER 26 (MExN): Kohima College celebrated its first-ever Winter Fest under the theme “Winter Rhapsody” on October 25. The event was jointly organised by the Kohima College Students’ Council (KCSC) and the Student Welfare Committee, with sponsorship from Keystone Coaching Institute and NAGA HILLS Coffee.
The fest was hosted by professional emcee and former Miss Nagaland 2022, Hikali Achumi. The programme began with a welcome address delivered by Dr Vitsosie Vupru, Principal of Kohima College, while Yukhase Jingru, student representative of the KCSC, proposed the vote of thanks.
The highlight of the day was the “Winter Rhapsody” segment, where both students and alumni of Kohima College showcased their diverse talents through music, dance, and art performances.
Adding to the excitement, the event was graced by popular Naga personalities — rapper Moko Koza, comedian Hopong Naga, and the Wokha-based rock band “About Us”, whose presence drew enthusiastic cheers from the audience.
The Winter Fest marked a memorable day of celebration, creativity, and camaraderie, reflecting the vibrant spirit of Kohima College’s student community.
