Kohima, October 13 (MExN): Kohima College in collaboration with The Lungleng Show organised a talk for the students of Kohima College on the theme ‘Kaam Kotha: Talking about Work, Careers in Sports & Fitness’ on October 12. The event was an initiative of Career Guidance & Placement cell, Kohima College and was promoted by the media cell, Kohima College, stated a press release.
R Lungleng hosted the event dedicated to skill development in sports and fitness. The panelist were Talienla Pongen, co-founder and Managing Director, PAWF, Nagaland (Performing Arts with Fitness), which is a movement for “A Fitter Nagaland” talk on the importance of fitness; Dr Viposa Kiso, Sports Ministry Leader & founding Director, Gethemgo Sports International talk on Sports education and its ministry; and Vethozo Lohe, IAF World Championship Gold medalist talk on his experience in sports as a career.
The panelists discuss the issues of sports and fitness as a career, the prospects and the problems associated with it and sports from a Christian perspective. The panelist further exhorted the students to be innovative and creative, the release added.
