Kohima, July 26 (MExN): The Deputy Commissioner and District Returning Officer Kohima Rajesh Soundararajan, IAS, has notified that, the Election Commission of India has directed to all the electors in 10- Northern Angami -1 (ST) Assembly Constituency in Nagaland, who have been issued EPIC have to produce the EPIC for their identification at the polling stations before casting their votes.
Those electors who are not able to produce the EPIC shall produce one of the following alternative photo identity documents: Passport; Driving Licence; Service identity Card with photograph issued by employees by Central/ State Government/ PSUs/ Public Limited Companies; Passbook with photograph issued by Bank/ Post Office; PAN Card; Smart Card issued by RGI under NPR, MNREGA Job Card; Health insurance Smart Card issued under the scheme of Ministry of Labour; Pension document with photograph; Authenticated photo Voter slip issued by the election machinery; Official identity Cards issued to MPs/ MLAs/ MKCs; Aadhaar Card. The 10- Northern Angami-1 A/C will go to polls on July 29.
